Luis Dena is part of a new wave of DJs emerging from the border city of Juarez. Luis first got interested in electronic music while attending high school in the year of 1997, it was the Chemical Brother's - Dig Your Own Hole that got the attention shifted towards electronic music. But it wasnt until 2001 when Luis got influenced by his friends Jesus Parada AKA Josta and David Teruel AKA Crisko to start mixing records. Luis' sets, which are a blend of not-so-minimal, techie, progressive and electro-house, are influenced by the likes of Paolo Mojo, Nic Fanciulli, Desyn Masiello, Eric Prydz, 16 Bit Lolitas, Cass, and so many others to mention. Luis has played in most electronic clubs of Ciudad Juarez, El Paso, Chihuahua, and has had the opportunity to play in places as far as Cabo San Lucas. Luis has played along artists such as: Daniel Mnookin, Demi, Brian Ffar, Randall Jones, Dj Inc, Dennis Rodgers, the Sjunkes, Opencloud, Chloe, Lance Cashion, Belfi, James Lauer, The Midnight Perverts, Gabriel Sordo, and most recently Add2Basket.
